The community of worshippers of Radha
Golokananda is growing rapidly, outgrowing the small
facilities in the present temple. Thus many requests have
come forth to build a new, bigger temple for Their
Lordships. The new temple will be located across the street
from the present temple on a six-acre plot of land.

The plans for the New Krishna Temple of North
Carolina are inspired by the architecture of the ISKCON
temple in New Zealand.

Here are some of many aspects planned for
the new temple:
-Main temple hall of at least 2500 sq. ft.
(current temple room is 700 sq. ft)
-Beautiful paintings on walls and ceiling
-Prominent dome
-Parikram path behind main altar to provide
opportunity to circumambulate the deities
-Room for entertainment and cultural events
-Attractive wood
floor
