The day after Janmashtami (Nandotsava) is the appearance day of our beloved ISKCON Founder-Acharya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. In 1896 Srila Prabhupada appeared in this world to distribute the pure message of Krishna consciousness all over the world. From 1965-1977, Srila Prabhupada, in his 70’s, traveled the globe 14 times and established Krishna consciousness in practically every continent of the world. 

Especially on this day we would like to express our gratitude to Srila Prabhupada for giving us and the entire world this most precious gift of Krishna consciousness. Festival is celebrated with heartfelt offerings of gratitude to Srila Prabhupada and an opulent prasadam feast.
