Retreat Highlights, July 3-5, 2026:
3 full days from Mangala Aratika to Gaura Aratika: lectures, kirtans and inspiring devotee association.

REGISTRATION Charge: $56 per person (children below 5 free). This includes attendance in the retreat for 3 full days with 8 full meals of delicious prasadam. This charge does not include accommodations.

Our main aim of this retreat is to give everyone the opportunity to spend three days absorbed in Hari-katha, kirtan, and the association of devotees.
To make this retreat accessible to as many devotees as possible, we have kept the registration cost to a minimum—only $56 per person. This covers 9 full prasadam meals as well as essential retreat arrangements such as sound, restroom rentals, tents, chairs, and other event expenses.
We humbly invite you to take part in this seva by sponsoring prasadam, flowers, or aratika during these three days. It is a great blessing and privilege to help serve around 600 devotees gathered for hearing and chanting the glories of the Lord.

SEVA Opportunities
In the Nectar of Devotion, Srila Prabhupada writes: “Let me become a sincere servant of the devotees, because by serving them one can achieve unalloyed devotional service unto the lotus feet of the Lord. The service of devotees diminishes all miserable material conditions and develops within one a deep devotional love for the Supreme Personality of Godhead.”
For the retreat, we will be serving 9 delicious prasadam meals to 600+ devotees
. This means there are lots of opportunities to serve the Vaisnavas . The following are the main service categories available:
Prasadam Serving. Pot Washing (the best heart cleaning seva). Assist main cooks with cutting vegetables, etc

Children Activities & Volunteer Opportunities
We are planning children activities for children 10 years and younger who cannot sit in the classes. If you would like to sign up your children for these activities and/or volunteer, please fill out this form latest by Thursday, June 25th:
Regarding Cancellations
If, for any reason, you are unable to attend, we humbly request that you please contact the devotees listed below directly rather than posting in the WhatsApp group.
The reason for this request is that we have several devotees on the waiting list, and we would like to offer available spots to those who have been waiting the longest. Your cooperation will help us manage registrations fairly and efficiently.
We are unable to provide refunds for your cancellations.

Motel Information
There are two motels in Hillsborough, 5 minutes drive from the temple: 1. Holiday Inn Express Hillsborough-Durham Area by IHG, 2. Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Hillsborough. We talked to both the motels for cheaper bulk rate booking, but the price through travel websites like priceline, hotels.com, expedia, etc are much cheaper than the rates that the motels provided. Our suggestion is to book through these websites. Please reach out to us if we can be of any assistance.
